Parents Employee Resource Group

We recognise that families come in all different shapes and sizes. Our Parents ERG supports and connects employees on all stages of their parenting journey, and is inclusive of single parents, LGBTQIA+ parents, adoptive parents and parents-to-be.
 

Pride Employee Resource Group

Our Pride ERG is a community of LGBTQIA+ employees and allies who are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment for everyone at Hays. The Pride ERG celebrates the diversity of identities and experiences and fosters a culture of belonging at Hays.
 
Our Pride ERG aims to raise awareness, provide education, and promote positive change for the LGBTQIA+ community both within our organisation and beyond.

Te Rōpū Manaaki

Te Rōpū Manaaki, our Māori Inclusion Working Group, supports Māori inclusion in Aotearoa, enabling our people to learn and celebrate te Ao Māori and te Reo. Our Rōpū supports our ambitions to be an employer of choice for Māori and plays a key role in planning and delivering days of recognition and celebration such as Waitangi Day, Matariki and Te Wiki o te Reo Māori.

We’re proud of the strong representation of women in leadership positions in our business. Our WE Lead ERG aims to support and empower women at Hays, enabling a high-performance culture through community building and collective action and ensuring a strong focus on maintaining a gender-balanced workforce.

We’re proud of our family friendly culture at Hays and support our employees with paid parental leave, a Keep-In-Touch program while employees are on leave to keep them connected with Hays and our people are supported on return from parental leave through Reignite, our one-to-one coaching program supporting parents to achieve their career success.

Helping For Your Tomorrow

Our Helping For Your Tomorrow program enables us to create broader, meaningful change in our communities through volunteering and fundraising activities. Through this program our people can access to one paid volunteer day per year to use their skills and expertise to support their local communities and improve the employability of people who may not have the same opportunities as others.

TupuToa who aim to develop a pipeline of Māori and Pacific talent, ensuring corporate Aotearoa represents the diversity of our country by developing and empowering young Māori and Pacific peoples and building the cultural capability of organisations.
 

Dress for Success

Dress for Success aim to create a thriving community where people are supported to achieve their aspirations in work and life, and success is built on sustainable choices. Hays supports these ambitions and have shared our expertise with Dress for Success, offering 30-minute career advice sessions to clients of Dress for Success. We have also supported through clothing drives, reducing environmental impacts through recycling and sustainability.
 

Rainbow Youth

We know the importance of ensuring inclusive spaces for young people. Hays New Zealand were keen to make an impact and have participated in fundraisers for young rainbow rangatahi.
 

Crayon

Hays have joined the Crayon parental leave register to provide transparency around our parental leave benefits and processes that aim to ensure a family friendly culture at Hays.
