Senior EUC Engineer - Secret Clearance Required

Senior EUC Engineer contract to June 2025. Active secret level clearance and above. Windows environment.

We are seeking an experienced Senior EUC Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. Your primary focus will be supporting end-users and managing environments related to an ongoing project within our government organisation.

Your new role

As a Senior EUC Engineer, you'll be joining a small team tasked with supporting a variety of products and applications within a Microsoft Environment.

Full duties include:
  • Support End User Device Operations: Assist in daily operations and management of end-user devices.
  • SCCM/MDT Environments: Implement and manage System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) environments.
  • Device Image Management: Develop, update, and manage device images for various endpoints.
  • Intune Managed Devices: Facilitate the delivery and management of devices through Microsoft Intune.
  • Level 2 Ticket Support: Provide support for Level 2 ticket queues, resolving complex technical issues.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation to support internal processes and knowledge sharing.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including IT staff, end-users, management, and vendors.
  • Communication: Skilled at translating complex technical issues into clear, actionable information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and creative thinking skills to develop effective solutions.
  • Device Build and Delivery: Experience in designing, building, and delivering end-user devices.
  • SCCM and MDT Proficiency: Expertise in managing and deploying operating systems and applications using SCCM and MDT.
  • Device Imaging: Experience in creating, testing, and deploying device images across various security classifications.
  • Device Configuration: Proficiency in managing and configuring devices through Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) and/or BlackBerry Universal Endpoint Manager (BBUEM).
  • Meeting Room Technologies: Knowledge of managing and configuring meeting room technologies using Intune.
