You will be working for a long standing established chartered accountancy firm based in the stunning Central Otago town of Queenstown. This firm has a wide range of different clients across sectors, industries and sizes, and they offer a variety of services to their extensive client base.

Your new role

You will be working as a Junior Accountant. Your responsibilities will be centred around supporting the team in delivering these services and your tasks will include journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, assisting with tax preparation and compliance. As your experience progresses, your responsibilities and tasks will grow and progress.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need experience within a chartered accountancy, bookkeeping or similar environment and have enough knowledge to know this is a career you wish to pursue. You will need to have the educational certification to qualify you for entrance to the journey towards chartered certification and have the desire to follow that path - or you may already have started that journey. You will need to be located in Queenstown, or be open to a relocation - support for this can be discussed.
