Are you currently working in a Chartered Accounting firm in Wellington but looking for a change of scenery? Has Palmerston North been calling your name?

We are matching talent with a funky Chartered Accounting firm who are leaders in their realm. They are all people focused, and need a Senior (or Intermediate) Accountant to join their team.

The ideal candidate won't be afraid to pick up the phone and meet with clients in person, while showing a genuine interest and passion in what they do.
You will need to be able to juggle client expectations, wrangle tax returns and sprinkle charm into Accounting meetings.
You'll be the primary point of contact and can translate finance talk to your clients.
Proactively communicate, sell services and delegate where needed.
Bonus pints for handling roadblocks like a pro, and spotting new opportunities without scaring clients away.

What you'll need to succeed

4-5 years of public practice experience.
A knack for leading teams with the ability to mentor.
