Water Service Trainee – Dunedin

We are recruiting for an organisation that specialises in water network maintenance and renewal construction. They are looking for two trainee Water Service people. Work for an organisation that services almost a quarter of properties nationwide, and maintains over 20,000kms of pipe network.

In this role, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of water reticulation networks. Your duties will include:

Repairing leaking water mains
Installing and repairing service pipes and hydrants
Fixing meter connections and replacing meters as needed
Servicing all valves and hydrants

Requirements:

Positive attitude, with the willingness to learn
Full Class 1 License
Pass a pre-employment test
Pass an MOJ clearance
Some labour / Water Experience preferred but not essential
