Hays are partnering with a Government Agency based in Wellington CBD who are looking to recruit a number of Senior Policy Analysts for a Fixed Term contract until the 30th of Jun . (possibility of extension). The opportunity is in the main policy group to replace staff members who have moved into a project team to complete a piece of work.

- Experience in undertaking public and stakeholder consultation on major policy reviews and government initiatives.
- Experience in developing regulatory policy and developing legislation - from policy development through to enactment.
- Experience in peer reviewing or drafting quality responses to Ministerial correspondence, Parliamentary questions, Official Information Act requests, Ombudsmen enquiries, Select Committee questions and briefings to support Ministers’ attendance at meetings.
- Previous experience as a good all-around central government Senior Analyst.
- Ability to hit the ground running.
- Stakeholder engagement experience to a senior analyst level.
- Good writing and analysis, team fit, mentoring of analysts, proactive, creative, delivery focused etc.
