Our client has been in the industry for over 30 years and is a leading national business in the commercial sector. They are well known for delivering high quality projects and fostering good relationships with clients. Due to the forward pipeline of confirmed work, they are on the lookout for a Site Manager to join their team in Tauranga.

Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

Working alongside the Project Manager you will:

• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities.

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

• Monitor progress and prepare regular reports on project status.

• Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during construction.

• Maintain accurate records of site activities and progress.

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the NZ construction industry

• Relevant tertiary qualification or carpentry background

• Proven experience across commercial projects valued at $20 million or above

• In-depth knowledge of construction processes and contracts, safety regulations, and quality standards.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
