Our client is one of the leaders in the shipping industry globally, and they have a fantastic opportunity to join them in this newly created role based in their New Zealand office.

Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

Reporting to the Country Manager, you'll be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, acting as a key partner to managers and employees on all HR-related matters including:

• Recruitment
• Talent management
• Employee relations
• Champion employee engagement initiatives
• HR administration

You'll also take responsibility for other functions including compliance, company vehicles and some travel management.

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

This role requires a hands-on approach and a genuine passion for HR, people, talent management and development.

• 3–5 years generalist HR experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with HRIS's, ideally SuccessFactors
• Working knowledge of NZ labour laws and regulations
• Ideally experience working within an international organisation
