Your new role:
Our client is seeking a permanent team member for the National Contact Service, working 40 hours per week on rostered shifts between 7am and 9pm, 7 days per week. This is a hybrid working position based in the National Office.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Answering calls from various stakeholders, including law enforcement, victims, and internal staff.
- Conducting initial screening, intake, triage, assessment, and allocation of support resources to ensure cases are managed effectively.
- Accurately entering records into databases and systems in a timely manner.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Excellent phone manner and communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and exceptional people skills.
- Proficiency with databases, Excel, and Word.
- The ability to make decisions and prioritise tasks independently and accurately.
- Empathy and understanding of the impact of challenging circumstances on individuals.
