Our client is a distributor for a well-known company in the Whakatane region. They look after the Eastern Bay of Plenty. They are a small, close-knit team who work with each other for the greater good and the prompt servicing of their clients.

Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

Seeking an Operations Manager to assist the owners in their ever-growing work load, they are looking for someone who is keen and enthusiastic with a great attitude to join their team.

The role will involve managing a small team including logistics, depot and stock management, managing trucks and rosters along with maintenance of vehicles. There will be times when you will need to be out seeing clients and customers, and you will need to be willing to drive the trucks and get involved as and when necessary.
The role has the opportunity to be quite flexible depending on the needs at the time and there is an opportunity to grow and develop yourself as the franchise and company is very sought-after, so there could be room to move in the future.

• A great attitude

• Someone who is reliable, dependable and has excellent communication skills

• Experience with logistics, depot or stock management

• Experience in managing a small team

• Physically fit and able/confident to drive trucks

• Class 2 Drivers' Licence or willing to obtain
