Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

This fixed-term position is based in Christchurch or Wellington. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be part of the Technology Services team, working to deliver modern, tailored processing solutions. Reporting to a Senior Manager, you will collaborate with platform owners, business stakeholders, product owners, and technical experts to develop and enhance data services using advanced tools and platforms, such as data bricks and data warehousing solutions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary technology teams to ensure solutions align with ICT architecture guidelines.

• A minimum of four years' experience in a business/technical analyst role with Databricks experience being essential.
• Expertise in adopting a customer-centric approach to gathering requirements, analysing problems qualitatively, and solving issues.
• Proven ability to manage oneself effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team in IT project or delivery settings.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in building productive relationships and resolving conflicts.
• Strong knowledge of data management and application development, including experience with data platforms in project settings.
• Flexibility in thinking and working, comfortable in both structured and unstructured environments.
• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in information and communications technology.
