Brand Ambassador - Superannuation - Retirement Plans

Our client is a financial service provider that is owned and operated by local government. They supply local government employees with a range of financial services including superannuation products, allowing staff members to have a stronger retirement plan.

Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

Reporting directly to the CE in Wellington, your role is to communicate, promote and educate council staff members on the benefits of entering into their dedicated superannuation products for a better retirement. You will do this by:

  • Driving the development and execution of an effective communications strategy
  • Lead and manage organisational key messages, audience groups and communications channels
  • Ensuring consistency in messaging and brand personality
  • Build and grow business relationships to allow for continuous opportunities to educate council staff on superannuation options
  • Contribute directly to the design and/or production of printed or digital collateral.
  • Exhibit values, strengths and behaviours that align with Civic Financial Services' purpose

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

  • A tertiary qualification is considered desirable – Commerce / Economics
  • Exposure to working within the financial services sector will work to your advantage
  • Proven experience in communications, delivery and engagement positions
  • Understanding of membership-based associations
  • Able to have the flexibility to travel at least 6-9days per month
  • Be a strong storyteller and influencer - able to engage with a wide variety of people of all ages and backgrounds to promote the services on offer
  • Highly organised, autonomous and able to prioritise your own work programme
  • Able to pivot between working alone and in a team and between growth-focused engagement to detail-focused delivery
