Finance Administrator (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

We’re seeking a Finance Administrator for a six-month fixed-term contract to support a dynamic and collaborative team. In the role of a Finance Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team during this fixed-term period. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the accounts inbox by sorting, distributing, and actioning items as needed.
  • Overseeing the Accounts Payable (AP) function, ensuring invoices are recorded accurately, authorised in line with policy, and paid promptly.
  • Reconciling bank statements and processing payments through the ERP system and online banking platforms, including direct credits, same-day cleared payments, and international payments.
  • Recording and reconciling client disbursements while managing billing queries, credit notes, time transfers, and staff reimbursements.
  • Reviewing, processing, and following up on credit card expense submissions.
  • Running and circulating financial reports as required.
  • Filing finance documents and assisting with covering team member leave during this contract.
  • Supporting other finance-related tasks as they arise, ensuring smooth financial operations.
What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who brings the following skills and experience to the table:

  • Experience in accounts payable or trust accounting (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical ability and a good understanding of accounting principles, such as debits and credits.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks effectively, work under pressure, and adapt to new challenges.
  • A high level of professionalism, including the ability to handle confidential information reliably.
  • A flexible and proactive attitude, with the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
