Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

As a Business Project Manager on a 6-month contract, you will lead and manage business projects from initiation to completion. You will collaborate with stakeholders, including Māori communities, to integrate their needs and perspectives into project plans. Your responsibilities will include developing project documentation, monitoring progress, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery within budget. Effective communication and collaboration with project team members and stakeholders will be key to your success.

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Business Project Manager, preferably within a government or public sector environment.
• Demonstrated experience working on projects with Māori outcomes, including engagement with Māori communities and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Te Ao Māori and tikanga Māori.
• Experience working in the education sector would be advantageous.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
