Your new role

A new assistant accountant is required to join the team at their Eastern Bay of Plenty office. A company with 1100 staff all up. Reporting to your manager based in Auckland as part of the fixed assets team. You will be based in Whakatane, where you will need to be somewhat self-reliant. You will be part of a team in the office but reporting in to the wider team based in Auckland. If you have a corporate background in the Assistant Accounting space, looking for your next career move, this may be the role for you.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in an assistant accountant capacity

• Working towards CA level

• Able to self-manage and be self-reliant as the main team based in Auckland

• Able to commute or live locally in Whakatane

• Experience with fixed assets advantageous

• Excellent communication skills
