Class 5 - Container Box Runner - Truck Driver - Rotorua

Primary Purpose of the Position:
The main purpose of the role is to pick up and drop off containers to Tauranga Port in our truck. There may occasionally be other truck runs required for the smooth running of the business. E.g., transfer loads from Whakatane or picking up from suppliers.

Reporting to:
This position reports to the Branch Manager.

Duties:
• Comply with all Safe Working Procedures as appropriate for the work being undertaken.
• Undertake container truck jobs for the week as allocated, notifying the office of delays with the job or bookings.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on the truck you are allocated.
• Keep trucks clean and tidy, including arranging for cleaning as required.
• Other duties as required in all areas of the yard to ensure the effective operation of the business.

• Clean and current drivers licence appropriate to the Class of Truck being driven.
