Your new role

Your role as a Data Engineering People Leader will be to manage a cross-disciplinary team to lead solutions for both data warehouses and applications to manage the organisations' data effectively. The role will entail providing mentorship for the team, ensuring good software development lifecycle practices as well as high level technical expertise on the projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• Lead a skilled technical team that provides accurate data, creates and improves data models, uses a modular approach for data processing, and offers reports and analytics to support business users.

• Lead the development of a modern data warehouse, transitioning from SQL Server to Databricks.

• Create end-to-end data solutions and perform both logical and physical data modelling.

• Lead by example and promote a strong, collaborative work environment.

• Build and sustain a network of collaborative relationships within the team and with external partners to effectively execute the work plan.
