Your new role:
To understand the business needs for data from the client platforms and to source the required information from the relevant platforms and data sources. To apply advanced analytical, statistical, and machine learning techniques to solve business problems and generate actionable insights. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, develop models, and communicate results effectively.
Your Key Accountabilities:
Identify the data sources that should be used to most effectively fulfil the needs of the data request raised and identify the fields that best represent the respective data elements that have been requested
Ensure the quality of output by building in a way that is testable. Work with the BA and Project Team to ensure that testing is carried out.
Analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends.
Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable recommendations.
Communicate findings and insights through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analysis process.
Stay current with advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI.
What you'll need to succeed:
Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
Proficiency in data science tools and programming languages (e.g. Python, SQL).
Some knowledge of data warehousing, big data technologies, and cloud data services.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to align technical solutions with business strategies.
The ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to meet competing and complex demands.
The ability to work with key BI applications (Power BI, Tableau) to produce high quality reporting that is easily understood, is engaging and robust.
Strong understanding of Agile ways of working
