We’re excited to announce an opening for a dynamic Food Commercial Manager to join our vibrant team at IKEA. If you’re passionate about retail and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, we want to hear from you!
To be considered for this role, experience in the following is essential:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a team.
A passion for food and a drive to achieve commercial success with a strategic mindset.
A strong understanding of commerciality, you can influence and negotiate effectively to position the IKEA Food function as a profitable business.
Excellent communication skills and you can articulate and co-collaborate with various stakeholders.
Extremely efficient time management skills to ensure projects and tasks are delivered in a timely manner.
You are the primary driver of sales on the commercial side for food, meaning you need to make sure that all your communication, offers, seasonality etc is aligned with the IKEA strategy.
You are tasked with helping promote our Swedish identity to our many customers, through our offers in the restaurant, our iconic products in the bistro, and our range presentation in the Swedish food market.
A competent and strong leader, able to implement and develop IKEA processes as well as focusing on the growth of your co-workers.
You will thrive in a lively, hands-on environment. You'll be actively engaged in a variety of tasks that require movement and interaction throughout the day, away from a desk.
What you need to know:
The work location for this role once the store is open will be IKEA Sylvia Park. Until then, you will likely be based out of a temporary office in Auckland.
As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts.
The internal title for this role is Food Commercial Manager.
