Strong communication skills and ability to connect with others, you are able to understand the customer's needs and the ability to build strong relationships.

Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
You have proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA product range.
You are confident in actively selling and a passion for customer service.
A safe mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive movements and lifting.
Prior Kitchen Planning experience and use of relevant tools such as CAD or SketchUp along with kitchen planning and regulations knowledge is highly desirable but not essential.
Strong sales experience in a retail setting is essential, you will be provided with extensive training on IKEA products and systems.
This is a permanent role.
You may have seen that we have a variety of Part Time and Full-Time roles available for the Co-worker – Sales (Kitchen Planner). You will be able to select your preference at application stage. See below the breakdown:
Full Time – 80 hours per fortnight.
Part Time – 60-79 hours per fortnight.
Part Time – 40-59 hours per fortnight.
Part Time – 24-39 hours per fortnight.
The internal title for this role is IKEA Co-worker.
The expected start date for this role is 30/06/25.
The first step of the recruitment process will be an application form. If you are successful to the next step, you will be notified via email.
Our store will operate 7 days a week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evenings shifts including every Saturday or Sunday, or working both days and having the next weekend off. Prior to the store opening you may work Monday to Friday.
