Looking for a new role in Cromwell, Christchurch or Queenstown? My client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Quantity Surveyor with HVAC or Plumbing experience! In this role you will conduct cost analysis and estimates for HVAC and plumbing projects, prepare quantity take-offs and bills of quantities, manage budgets, and ensure effective cost control. The role also involves negotiating contracts, liaising with contractors and suppliers, monitoring project progress, preparing financial reports, providing timely cost advice, and collaborating with project managers to meet financial objectives.

• Proven experience in HVAC or plumbing and mechanical quantity surveying.
• Strong understanding of mechanical work pricing from start to finish.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
• Valid driver’s licence.
