Your new role

You will be working as a Tax Manager based in the Dunedin office. You will be responsible for undertaking taxation reviews for clients, developing tax strategies, providing training and education to staff, some BAS work to assist the larger team. Depending on your current position, you may be working towards these responsibilities as a strong senior tax specialist with an ambition to become a rounded and multi-skilled chartered accountant who is able to be the taxation expert, teaching and training other team members in order to strengthen the whole firm. You may be an already established tax manager who is looking for a path upwards towards a position within an organisation which both fosters and nurtures ambition and growth, with the option of partnership attainable for the right individual. You may be a highly ambitious intermediate tax specialist who has a plan to drive their career through the aforementioned paths and see this as a great vehicle for your success.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need strong experience at your current level, demonstrated through a stable career history, relevant education and either completed or in progress industry recognised certification. You will need expertise in taxation and etiher the knowledge of, or the drive to gain a working knowledge in, BAS and general accounting. You will be a strong and confident communicator, able to articulate yourself to both internal and external clients. You will living in, or open to a relocation to Dunedin as this role is a hands on position, driving the team as well as your own performance.
