We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trades Supervisor to join our team at McMurdo Base in Antarctica. Key Responsibilities:

You’ll oversee a team of skilled tradespeople, electricians, plumbers, or carpenters, ensuring work is completed on time, to budget, and to required quality standards, by managing schedules, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and resolving any issues that arise on a project site or within a maintenance operation; you'll need to have a strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and the specific technical skills related a variety of trades in the industrial space.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Trades Supervisor or similar role.
  • Strong background in multiple trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to work in extreme and isolated conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to commit to a 6-month contract starting in April.
